Personal Message: I had always dreamed of becoming a teacher from a very young age and had many great role models who had inspired me all throughout my life and education, in Italy, where I was born and Australia where my family came to live. I believe that wonderful teachers can make such a difference to the life and future of every child! I wanted to be that passionate and inspiring  teacher who could really make that difference!

Area of Responsibility: Mrs. Jessep is currently a Classroom Teacher working three days per week in Year 2 with Mrs Danielle Rapp working 2 days per week.

Professional Experience:

Mrs. Jessep has a Diploma in Teaching (1983), and Graduate Diploma in Education (1994), she has studied Psychology, Italian and Education (Bachelor of Arts at Sydney University (1981). She has a Mini Certificate in Gifted and Talented Education (UNSW 2008),  Certificate of Inclusive Education (ACU 2004) and more recently achieved her Reading Recovery Teacher Training (CEO Leichhardt 2014) and achieved the Mathematical Expertise and Excellence Phase 1 Proficiency Course in 2019. 

Mrs. Jessep has been accredited in Religious Education  and was the Religious Education Coordinator at St Aloysius from 2000 to 2007. She has been a Specialist Teacher in Reading Recovery, Numeracy Intervention, Music, Art and Italian Language teaching at St Aloysius. 

Mrs. Jessep has worked at St Catherine Laboure Primary School at Gymea, St Margaret Mary’s Primary School at Randwick North, St Patrick’s Primary School at Sutherland and St Thomas More Primary School at Brighton-le-Sands before coming to St Aloysius Primary in 2000. In 2016 Mrs. Jessep received an award from Sydney Catholic Schools on Achieving 40 Years of Teaching.
